Stan Demke
Manufacturing Specialist

Hello,
a bit about me:
Manufacturing specialist in metal cutting with a strong desire to learn.
My career started early in high school where I attended a vocational program for metals and aerospace. This program was certified by Manitoba Apprenticeship and Training and qualified students to challenge machinist Level 1, which I successfully did. After high school, I became an apprentice machinist and obtained my journeyman red seal qualification in 1997. In 1999, I started instructing the apprenticeship program at Red River College and transitioned over to the manufacturing technician program where I taught CNC programming and operation classes.
After relocating to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas in 2004, I soon began work as an application engineer with a local Mazak distributor. In 2008, I approached the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Continuing Education and Workforce Development department about starting a CNC Programming curriculum and started teaching shortly thereafter. Later in 2008, I decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering on a part-time basis and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2018. During this time, my employment transitioned to a direct sales account manager for Mazak selling the machines I programed and operated.
In 2019, I began a post graduate degree program in business and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in May, 2021 with a 3.75 GPA all while growing market share in my selling region and continuing instructing CNC programming part time.
